Vice-Rector for Innovation Will Take Par tin the «Novatore Impact Summit» Conference

On 7 March, the third international women's economic empowerment conference «Novatore Impact Summit» will take place, bringing together more than 300 senior and mid-level women executives from the Baltic States. Among nearly 30 guests of the conference will be also the Vice-Rector of Innovation of Riga Technical University (RTU) Liene Briede, and this year RTU has become a friend and venue partner of the conference.

This year's conference programme is interwoven with three central themes: financial well-being, women's leadership and sustainable lifestyles. These themes will be explored through the experiences and personal leadership growth stories of various experienced leaders from abroad and at home.

Together with RTU Vice-Rector for Innovation Liene Briede, Agata Laight, Senior Director of Inclusive Impact and Sustainability at «Visa», and Dace Dovidena, Chairman and CEO of «Narvessen», will share their views on women's leadership and inspire with valuable insights. Milda Mitkute, co-founder of the Lithuanian start-up «Vinted», will share her story of personal leadership growth and building a sustainable fashion business.

The conference brings together knowledgeable and inspiring professionals from a wide range of fields, for example, covering one of the key themes of the conference - financial well-being - Linda Scott, Emeritus Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Oxford University, best known as the author of «The Double X Economy» and founder of «The Power Shift Forum for Women in the World Economy», will be the first to take to the conference stage. Meanwhile, women, leadership and money will be discussed by Latvian Prime Minister Evika Siliņa, Arminta Saladziene, Vice President of European Markets at «Nasdaq», Anders Larsson, Head of Sustainable Development at «SEB» Baltic Division, and Līga Meņģelsone, President of the Latvian Red Cross.

The conference will focus on sustainable lifestyles from the perspectives of healthy eating, sustainable fashion, and overcoming the challenges of climate change.

To foster professional development and provide valuable practical knowledge for personal growth, eight masterclasses will be held on the day, focusing on professional leadership development, financial well-being, diversity management and sustainable living.

The «Novatore Impact Summit» has been held annually since 2022, with the main aim of strengthening women's economic activity and prosperity by promoting women's leadership in senior business leadership and entrepreneurship. More about the conference.
