On 31 January, a lecture on water quality research «Microbes Dynamics in Urban Water Cycle: from P to Covid-19» by the Rector of Riga Technical University (RTU), Tālis Juhna, will open the series of events «RTU Academic Readings». From this year onwards, public lectures will be held regularly, once a month, to enable academics to pass on their knowledge capital and experience to younger colleagues and students, as well as to facilitate the exchange of ideas and discussions on current developments in different fields of science.
To discuss future transport and mobility through the prism of innovation, cooperation, and education, as well as to agree on sustainable transport policy guidelines, the «Look at the Future of Mobility: Innovations, Education and Collaboration » conference will bring together industries leaders and policy makers at RTU on November 8.
The idea of the TEDxRigaTechnicalUniversity Salon event is to host a quarterly non-formal discussion on different topics, from already seen TEDx talk discussions to hosting several speakers on site.
