RTU will Hold an Intensive Training Course «Spring Campus» Organised by the CERN

From April 23 until April 26, 2018, an intensive training course «Spring Campus» organised by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) will take place at Riga Technical University (RTU). The theme of the course is related to the field of information technologies and computing. RTU Bachelor students and Master students in the field of Computer Science or related are invited to participate in the course, which will be organised for the fifth time.

The core programme consists of 25 hours of sessions, delivered in English. The scientific content of the programme includes such topics as Information Technology; Security; Team Work; Project Management; Science and Society; Grid and Private Cloud Computing.

The programme also includes two social events, where students will learn more about CERN or ask questions related to the school. At the end of the course, a certificate (with indicated workload in ECTS) will be given to the students who successfully attended the sessions.
