Summary: | |
This project aims to explore how BSR cities can optimise and utilise the potential of new investment in regional railroad network, regarding both sustainability and equality aspects of mobility. |
|
Activities: | |
Several large rail infrastructure investments are ongoing in the countries around the Baltic Sea. We propose an exploration of sustainability and equality aspects of these investments in collaboration of Swedish, Estonian and Latvian partners. While the project will be led by academic institutions, it will involve important stakeholders, such as regional and city policymakers, regional and city transport companies, urban planners and architects, and various society groups |
