Kipsala street 6, room 117, Riga

The VIP course («Vertically integrated project») is a study course in RTU - Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte within which interdisciplinary student teams under the guidance of researchers develop a challenging long-term research project in the fields of wastewater treatment, bio-energy, sensor systems, low energy houses & robotics. The course brings together scientists, bachelor's, master's and PhD students from different fields and there's also a great number of international students, so the study environment is full of interesting ideas and different approaches.

Every semester we hold an open lecture for everyone interested. In this class you will:

  • Find out that is the "VIP" course in detail;
  • Learn about the projects you can join;
  • Meet the professors, teams and the new students;
  • Learn about your options for course credit - ECTS & scholarships.

The course size isn't limitless, so if you already know you want to take this course, apply now! Application form.

Classes take place Wednesdays 16:00-19:00 in RTU Design Factory.

  • You don't have to be a student in RTU - Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte to participate. We welcome students from other universities too. However, only RTU students can apply for a scholarship.
