The NEXT | The Young Global Leaders Camp

The NEXT | The Young Global Leaders Camp

Introduction to the Summer School

The Summer school is designed with the aim of introducing its participants to the skills and abilities that will be in high demand in the labour market in the near future, which will be especially relevant for those who intend to start a business or occupy leading positions in companies or state institutions.

The summer school will focus on two basic accents - developing the digital skills of young professionals, as well as improving the soft skills of students. Wittingly planned summer school program is intended to prepare representatives of various industries in time for possible future transformations and innovations, so that they become leaders at the given moment who are the first to respond to comprehensive changes in a timely and effective manner, turning challenges into benefits.

It should be noted that the developers of «The NEXT | The Young Global Leaders Camp» summer school have created a program that highlights and emphasizes the potentially necessary future knowledge that will be relevant in the near future.

It is important to note that the topics included in the summer school program were carefully selected by analyzing various studies and scientific articles.

It is important to mention the statements and convictions of various experts that, even though rapid and thorough digitalization of all industries and fields is taking place, still - at least in the near future - the management of cross-industry skills (soft skills) will not lose its relevance. This fact is based on the recognition that in the coming decades individuals will still work in teams where people will primarily interact and collaborate with people and thus communication, listening, empathy and other social skills will continue to be critically important.
