Promoting diversity
The world is various and the university environment becomes increasingly more diverse. This can create additional concern in communication with students and colleagues. Diversity refers not only to different cultures, beliefs, ethnicity, sexual orientation, but also to gender, age, health and socio-economic status.
Currently RTU Student Service offers:
• public seminars and practical classes on cross-cultural communication
• prepared informative materials
• consultations on communication with representatives of different groups, when required
• cooperation with volunteers from different cultural environments
We are open to cooperation with nongovernmental organisations and are ready to share information on useful events and support mechanisms.
