Mobility (including Erasmus+)

Students and staff of RTU and partnering universities are provided an opportunity to participate in foreign study, lecturing or experience exchange by the European Commission higher education exchange programs and mobility as part of bilateral contracts realised by RTU.

International mobility is an indispensable part of a modern and innovative university, providing students and teaching staff with needed experience exchange, promoting the university and facilitating the expansion of the cooperation network of RTU.

Erasmus+

Riga Technical University cooperates with more than 200 European universities within the Erasmus+ programme. The programme is financed by the European Commission, and the implementation period of the programme is 2014–2020.

Mobility within Bilateral Agreements

RTU international cooperation network is constantly growing, and currently RTU has signed agreements with higher education establishments all over the world. Majority of these agreements include information about exchange studies, by offering students different beneficial terms for studies abroad – lower study fees, studies free of charge, free accommodation and other benefits.

Individual Mobility

Not only those foreign students, whose universities have signed agreement with RTU can apply for studies at RTU, but also students from any other higher education institution abroad.
