Last week (23-26th of April) Riga Technical University hosted the fifth edition of 2018 CERN Spring Campus - a series of schools dedicated to Information Technology and Computing. Started in 2014, the CERN Spring Campus brings with each year a new dimension to CERN’s scientific and cultural activities.
Target audience was primarily final year BSc students and MSc students in the field of Computer Science or related, who want to know more about the latest technologies and industry trends in IT. The programme included 25 hours of sessions with specialists in their respective fields, covering topics such as:
Along the lectures, students and speakers used a chance to join social events and share time together, opening a door to the students to know more about CERN or ask related questions. After the motivating event, each participant received a certificate with indicated workload in ECTS.
