Director of RTU Centre of High Energy Physics and Accelerator Technologies Prof. Toms Torims is representing Riga Technical University at the Virtual International Particle Physics Conference 2020, from May 11 to May 14 2020.
He is presenting an innovative Proof of concept project about the development of a hybrid electron accelerator system for the treatment of marine diesel exhaust gases. This project is part of the H2020 project ARIES - an Integrating Activity project which aims to develop European particle accelerator infrastructures, where CERN is one of the leading partners.
