RTU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Elīna Gaile-Sarkane has approved the new regulations of the RTU Golden Fund. The purpose of the RTU Gold Fund is to celebrate the most outstanding RTU graduates, inform the public about their achievements and promote the career growth.
From now on, the graduates included in the RTU Golden Fund selection will be nominated by the Golden Fund Commission of each faculty, which will be established by order of the faculties dean or director. The commission, in cooperation with study program directors, will nominate the best RTU graduates from each study program, following the requirements set out in the regulations.
The committee evaluates not only the weighted average grade, but also the activities of graduates in student organizations, achievements in science, sports and/or culture, participation in social activities, seminars, conferences, courses and studies.
