In order to improve the personal growth of Riga Technical University (RTU) students on 13.-14. October, the international camp «Step by Step: How to be BEST of the BEST» will be held. During the camp participants will solve case study tasks prepared by SEB Group’s business services centre in Riga and Printful.
The camp will take place for the 12th time, with 40 students from RTU taking part in a 2-day intensive camp, during which students' personal skills and qualities are developed, thus increasing their competitiveness in the job market. SEB Group’s business services centre in Riga and Printful have prepared for the students case study tasks about situations that companies face in their daily work. The camp participants will have to work in teams, get into the different roles of company employees, solve tasks given by the companies and at the end prepare presentations on their work, thus gaining insight into the companies' operations and project management. The tasks will be carried out under the guidance of international BEST trainers.
The camp will help young people learn skills such as leadership, creative thinking, presentation skills, project and change management and many more. The camp will be held in English, thus developing students' English language skills. The main objective of this year's camp is to highlight the involvement of industry in the development and application of students' professional and soft-skills skills.
