RTU Professor Inga Dāboliņa named to the European Protective Clothing Association board

Evaluating the professional performance of RTU’s Personal Protective Equipment Testing Laboratory, Professor Inga Dāboliņa has been appointed to the board of the European Protective Clothing Association.  

The European Protective Clothing Association is an independent and non-profit society that acts as a forum for discussions and knowledge exchange for persons working in protective clothing including gloves and footwear. Founded in Denmark in 1997, the fields of interest are diverse. including both fundamental and applied research, testing methods, new product development, improvement of protection functions and ergonomics, maintenance, and usage challenges.  

The RTU Personal Protective Equipment Laboratory opened earlier this year. With world-unique equipment, the laboratory ensures prompt and high-quality testing of personal protective equipment and performs the testing of a wide range of textile materials.
