RTU Grand Graduation is organised by the RTU Culture Centre in collaboration with the RTU Alumni Association.
Hey, student!
If you are a musical person, sing or play a musical instrument, then our invitation to reveal your talent is meant for you. During the preparation time for the most anticipated RTU event of the year – the Grand Graduation –, we are looking for brave, active, talented students to realise a unique creative idea together. For the first time, students will greet graduates in the Grand Graduation, creating a musical performance together with well-known Latvian musicians.
What do you need to do? From April 2 to 16, fill out the online questionnaire, including information about yourself and your musical skills.
Wait for an invitation from us and come to the casting.
How will the casting happen?
From April 16 to 19, we will contact all students who submitted applications and invite them to show their talent to us.
From April 22 to 26 we will organise a casting in which the participants will be rated by well-known personalities in Latvian music and by the organisers of the RTU Grand Graduation.
April 30 - casting results will be announced.
If this got you thinking, we are definitely looking for you!

GAUDEAMUS IGITUR DE BREVITATE VITAE
Gaudeamus igitur,
Juvenes dum sumus,
Post jucundum juventutem,
Post molestam senectutem
Nos habebit humus.
Vivat academia,
Vivant professores,
Vivat membrum quodlibet,
Vivant membra quaelibet,
Semper sint in flore!
Vivat et respublica
Et qui illam regit,
Vivat nostra civitas,
Maecenatum caritas,
Quae nos hic proteigit!
