Every student’s first day of studies is exciting but can be stressful as this usually marks the beginning of something new and unknown, so RTU invites all freshers to celebrate it together with the university administration and each other! The Freshers’ Welcome starts off with a speech from the university Rector, performances from the RTU cheer team and dance group “Vektors”, as well as various activities organised by the RTU SP. Once the formal part is over, students go to their faculties for their first introductory lecture. The event is intended for first year students, but any RTU student is welcome to join.
