Any student wishing to become a member of their faculty Council or the RTU SP can register within their faculty’s Council. Existing members must repeat this procedure/process as well, so as to not lose their membership status. An election vote takes place concerning a list of upcoming Council members. A minimum of 10% of student votes must separate the results between “FOR” and “AGAINST” in order for this list to be elected, confirming the new members. Voting takes place electronically, on the ORTUS website. Once the new lists are elected, their membership gets approved at the next Board meeting. A new list of members then replaces the previous one.
