The third meeting of partners of Erasmus+ project «MareLaw» was held in Barcelona on April 16-17, 2024

On April 16-17, 2024, the third meeting, entitled «Workshop (WP4) - Guidelines for harmonization of maritime law courses», of partners of MareLaw project was held in Barcelona at the Faculty of Nautical Studies, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. MareLaw project is Erasmus+ project KA2 (Cooperation partnership in higher education) and its full title is «Upgrading and harmonization of Maritime law STCW based curriculum for Maritime students». 

During the meeting the members from University of Split, Technical University of Catalunya and Latvian Maritime Academy of Riga Technical University have done an overview of the project activities and a review of all the teaching materials developed. During first day of the meeting a requirement on a brief introduction of national legislation was done to be included in the set of materials. During the second day, the group was working on the Development of guidelines for harmonization of maritime law courses. At the end of the day a wrap up of the second day of workshop was done and a plan was set for upcoming project activities.
