Structural units

In accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Order No. 492 of 06.07.2022 "On the Reorganisation of Latvian Maritime Academy", as of 01.11.2022 it is part of Riga Technical University. According to the decision of the RTU Council of 11 October 2022 "On Inclusion of Latvian Maritime Academy into the RTU Structure and Approval of the RTU Structural Scheme in a New Revision" RTU Latvian Maritime Academy is included into the RTU structure with the following structural units:

• Center of Shipping Management and Navigation, which includes Department of Safety of Navigation and Cargo Handling Technology and Department of Shipping Management and Smart Port Technologies;
• Center of Marine Engineering, which includes Department of Marine Engineering System Operation and Maintenance and Department of Marine Electrical and Automation Systems and Navigation Electronics;
• RTU LMA Maritime school;
• LMA Training centre.
