The Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management offers higher education of all levels in various specialization in economics, entrepreneurship and management. The staff of the faculty are engaged in academic and methodological work and conduct research in different sub-disciplines of economics and management.

FEEM incorporates:

• Institute of Production and Entrepreneurship;
• Institute of International Business and Customs;
• Institute of National and Regional Economics;
• Institute of Occupational Safety and Civil Defence;
• Institute of Building Entrepreneurship and Real Estate Economics;
• Institute of Production Quality.

The mission of FEEM is to prepare internationally recognized, highly-qualified specialists, economists, businesses managers and to encourage professional advancement of researchers and the academic staff of the faculty. Economists, managers, specialists of real estate, customs and tax administration, occupational safety, marketing, logistics and other spheres, who are prepared by the faculty, are engaged in the management of economic and business processes in different spheres and the analysis of the results attained.  They take up executive positions in state and municipal institutions, enterprises, non-governmental, international and multinational organizations.

FEEM students learn how to research and analyze different economy- and business-related issues – microeconomic and macroeconomic processes, cash flow, different types of production, marketing, logistics, current trends in domestic and international trade, currency and financial policies, pricing policies, employment, personnel management, labor productivity, labor safety, real estate management, fundamentals of customs-operation, tax administration system, operation of the banking and financial sector, etc.

Students learn the fundamentals of business operations, collect, analyze and interpret business performance indicators and master how to properly manage processes and resources to ensure their efficient utilization. Specialists prepared by the FEEM successfully work both in Latvia and abroad, they develop thorough understanding of social processes and their impact on the socio-economic environment. FEEM fosters analytical thinking and provides reliable guidelines for further professional activities of the students. FEEM graduates will always find their place in life.
