On 20 October, the first TEDx event of Riga Technical University (RTU) took place both on-site at the RTU auditorium center «Domus Auditorialis» and online, where outstanding Latvian and international scientists and experts in business, medicine, digital environment, education, culture, environment, and other fields shared their inspiring stories.
TEDx Riga Technical University was organized by the Institute of Business Engineering and Management of the Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management (FEEM) of RTU. This was the first time in the history of Latvia that an educational institution obtained a license to hold a TEDx event.
The central theme of TEDx Riga Technical University was change as an integral part of everyday life, which, forcing continuous change and adaptation, develops society and its individuals as strong change management leaders.
One of the eleven speakers was the dean of FEEM professor Elīna Gaile-Sarkane.
