European Space Agency Invites Students to a Paid Traineeship

The European Space Agency's (ESA) annual Young Graduate Trainee (YGT) programme is open until 7 March, offering more than 100 paid internships for a year at an ESA Technology Centre in Europe.

The programme is open to students in the final year of their Master's degree or who have just completed a Master's degree in Engineering, Science, IT or Business Management.
The ESA Young Trainee Programme offers:

  • A unique experience to be part of a team of scientists, engineers and business professionals from all over Europe;
  • an excellent opportunity to gain a wide range of experience that could open the door to a career in the European space sector;
  • a one-year contract (renewable for a second year);
  • excellent employment conditions, including a monthly salary;
  • reimbursement of travel expenses;
  • health insurance.

Latvia is an Associate Member of ESA from 2020.
