Riga Technical University (RTU), RTU Riga Business School and the Latvian IT Cluster sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Hamburg Artificial Intelligence Centre (ARIC). The memorandum was signed at the German-Latvian Business Forum in Hamburg, which focuses on the development of digital innovations and the logistics sector.
From 10 to 12 May, the robotics hackathon «RoboBattle 48» will take place, organised by the Science and Innovation Centre of Riga Technical University (RTU). Students, researchers, representatives of start-ups, as well as other robot enthusiasts are invited to take part in the event, where they will not only have the opportunity to design their own robot, but also take part in a robot tournament, competing in a specially created arena.
In search of cooperation opportunities in the field of quantum technologies, Riga Technical University (RTU) hosted representatives of the Niels Bohr Institute of the University of Copenhagen and the Embassy of Latvia in Denmark, who met with the university management and got acquainted with the achievements of RTU scientists participating in the Latvian Quantum Initiative and developing a quantum communication infrastructure.
