Riga Technical University 64st International Scientific Conference, section Architecture and Urban Planning, is goingt to take place on October 13, 2023.
The Conference aims to promote discussion on sustainable urban space issues concerning history and theory of architecture, urban planning and spatial development, emphasizing the aspects of up-to-date principles of urban space organization. It offers all participants a platform for sharing ideas and experiences and provides a networking opportunity for researchers, research scholars and those interested in topics of urban development.
In 2023 the conference is integreted in the RESEARCH WEEK «Liveable Cities, Buildings, Heritage». The purpose of the Research Week is to create an integrated platform for exchanging ideas, where researchers of various backgrounds share their research results and reflect on coming activities. Liveability, as a common denominator for multidimensional actualities of architecture and urban planning, invites researchers to focus their attention on the quality of the environment, user needs, and flexibility of solutions at all scales and research areas.
The conference will be hosted in Riga at the Faculty of Architecture, Riga Technical University.
The conference language is English.
