The Faculty of Architecture of Riga Technical University invites you to participate in the RESEARCH WEEK 2023 «Liveable Cities, Buildings, Heritage», Riga, October 10-13, during which researchers will present the actualities of their research, as well as discuss urban environment and architectural quality issues.
The purpose of the Research Week is to create an integrated platform for exchanging ideas, where researchers of various backgrounds share their research results and reflect on coming activities. Liveability, as a common denominator for multidimensional actualities of architecture and urban planning, invites researchers to focus their attention on the quality of the environment, user needs, and flexibility of solutions at all scales and research areas.

Organizers
Research is an important source for all activities of the Faculty of Architecture. Participation in research projects, conferences, workshops, preparation of publications, work on the publication of a scientific journal creates the basis for ensuring quality studies. Modern challenges and the rapid development of technologies create the need to create interdisciplinary and cross-sector cooperation for solving complex problems. The Faculty of Architecture develops and improves cooperation in the field of fundamental and applied interdisciplinary research with other universities, educational, state administration and municipal institutions, companies, as well as professional and public organizations. In our research projects, we work in multidisciplinary international teams and actively cooperate with the research programs of organizations such as DOCOMOMO, EAAE, AESOP, and several other research centers around the world.
