Students pursuing a Master's and Doctorate degrees at Riga Technical University (RTU) will have more possibilities to study at RTU and simultaneously in one of the leading European universities, obtaining a double degree, as RTU has received an invitation to join the international T.I.M.E. association. It consists of leading technical universities that are interested in cooperating with each other in providing students with a competitive engineering education.

T.I.M.E. Association (Top International Managers in Engineering) is one of the biggest international cooperation organisations that was initially established to deal with promotion of cooperation among engineering universities in Europe, but the scope was extended with time and currently there are also T.I.M.E. member universities in Australia, Argentina, Canada, Brazil, China and Japan. This means that engineering students have even broader possibilities to study around the world.

These are leading engineering schools and universities, all of which have a strong international dimension in studies, research and industrial relations, which provides good opportunities for students not only to acquire excellent knowledge, but also to extend their views on intercultural relations, and to investigate other countries’ labour market requirements and opportunities. Since the establishment of the association in 1989, approximately 3000 students from T.I.M.E. member universities have obtained a double Master Degree that has helped them to develop a successful career in international companies.
