Experience the University at RTU Open Day 2020

International Cooperation and Foreign Students Department of Riga Technical University is pleased to invite prospective international students to A Virtual RTU Open Day 2020, which will take place on Thursday, June 18, at 6 PM (Helsinki GTM +3), aiming to take them to a journey through a whole study experience taking place at RTU Ķīpsala Campus – will become the most modern engineering study center in the Baltic States.

Our International Admission Team members will introduce you to a various study programs taught in English, online application process, entry requirements, student services, immigration regulations, employment, exchanges possibilities and scholarships.

Participants of RTU Open day will have opportunity to meet our current international students from Ecuador and India who will share their experience and give a broader view on how university life is like from a study process, campus life, environmental and social engagement standpoint.

RTU International Cooperation and Foreign Students Department is the university’s structural unit, which has been working with international students coming from all around the world for more than 25 years. Our international community gathers 3518 foreign students (full-time and exchange) representing 86 countries. International students can choose from a wide range of courses taught in English within 57 study programs.

RTU is the first higher education institution in Latvia that already in 1965 began construction of campus at Ķīpsala. The construction continues and it is planned that by 2020 a majority of university students are going to be educated at Ķīpsala Campus. Upon completion, RTU campus will become the most modern engineering study center in the Baltic States.
