An ID card or certificate of an employee of the Riga Technical University is intended to be used as an electronic door key (electronic door locks are used at several faculties and regional centres of the university).
If you have not studied or worked at RTU before, you will be asked to take a photo or place your photo in ORTUS. If you have been the RTU student or employee before, you can use the photo already available in ORTUS for your card, as desired.
