Anotation:
The first and for a long time the only school of architecture in Latvia was founded at Riga Polytechnicum - the first technical higher educational institution in the Baltic States. Over time, the school of architecture has changed its names, affiliation, and locations; however, it has managed to maintain its traditions until present. Now, it exists as the Faculty of Architecture of Riga Technical University. The present monography is the review of the history of architectural education and research in Latvia, presenting each historical period successively up to the present year.
