Thursday, 4th of March, from 11.00 to 16.00, the traditional Career Day of Riga Technical University (RTU) which due to epidemiological conditions will take place this year online on the platform . RTU invites students to participate in Career Day, create their profiles and find their next job or internship. Before the event, you must register on the website, registration and participation in the event is for free.
On RTU Career Day, which is the largest professional orientation event for young people in Latvia, this time young people will be able to get acquainted with companies' job and internship offers in the platform, as well as gain valuable information on how to position themselves in the labor market. For companies, in turn, this is an opportunity to get acquainted with potential employees and inform them about their company and job opportunities there.
The virtual exhibition platform for companies, similarly to the live event, will have its own stands where you can get acquainted with information about the company. Students will be able to apply for vacancies, chat with companies, apply for interview times.
Also this year, the exhibition will have a parallel program, which will offer various webinars and workshops on how to build a career and enter the labor market.
Currently, 65 companies representing 26 industries have already applied for participation in RTU Virtual Career Day. The most widely represented are IT industry, finance, energy, construction, production.
