RTU Men’s Basketball Team

Riga Technical University (RTU) men's basketball team play's in the Ramirent National Basketball League. The team also plays both in tournaments of the Latvian Universiade and SELL Student Games. If you are currently studying in the RTU and you are interested in basketball, we are glad to invite you to join open trainings in August and September.

Time and place of open training's in August and September 2023:

• On Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's of August (1., 2., 3., 8., 9., 10., 15., 16., 17., 22., 23., 24., 29., 30., 31.), from 18:30 till 20:00, at «DEPO Sports» Sports Hall, Jurkalnes Street 1, Riga.
• On Monday (4th of September), from 18:00 till 19:30, at «DEPO Sports» Sports Hall, Jurkalnes Street 1, Riga.
• On Wednesday (6th of September), from 18:30 till 20:00, at «DEPO Sports» Sports Hall, Jurkalnes Street 1, Riga.

Please come to trainings on time and don't be late otherwise you may not be allowed participate into training process!

During the open trainings the skills and level of each student will be evaluated and coach will inform students about the opportunity to play in the team of RTU and further participation in the training process as well. After open training session, please leave information with your coordinates (name, surname, phone, email, faculty, course, student ID number).
