The Industrial Doctor is the development of a doctoral thesis research, taking into account the interests and needs of an enterprise. In the training of Doctoral students, learning of a scientific method is generally based on problem formulation created in the academic environment, which does not lead to a strong link with the industry and its needs. The aim of this activity is to provide financial support to young scientists who develop their theses on a theme useful for the development of an enterprise and whose scientific development is necessary for the development of the enterprise concerned. The university, in cooperation with the enterprise, trains a Doctoral student in themes initiated by the enterprise. The Doctoral student works at the university but is also actively involved in the R&D activities of the enterprise. The theme chosen is based on the university scientific excellence and the enterprise's strategic vision for technological development.
