Design Factory

The Design Factory of the Science and Innovation Centre – part of the Design Factory Global Network – is a platform for students that promotes development of innovative ideas, mutual cooperation, establishment of professional contacts with the industry representatives and forms business competencies.

The Design Factory has «theLAB» – an open-type workshop where RTU students, employees and scientists have an opportunity to materialise their inventions by using the technological capabilities of 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving, plotting, large-format printing and other auxiliary tools. To contact «theLAB», please write to .

The Design Factory implements the «RTU Student Innovation Grants» project (ERDF co-financed project No 1.1.1.3/21/A/005). Students of all levels are offered to engage in different activities and develop their entrepreneurial capacity, collaborate with industry, develop early science-intensive business ideas, receive scholarships and support grants.
