The scientific monograph of RCEH Professor Alīda Zigmunde, published in October 2019 in German, English and Latvian, is dedicated to the first director of the first university founded in 1862 in the territory of Latvia – Riga Polytechnicum – Professor Ernst Nauck, celebrating his 200th Anniversary.
For the first time, the scientific monograph summarizes the scientific and pedagogical work of Professor E. Nauck, revealing hitherto unknown facts. The course of the Nauck family has also been traced, including E. Nauck’s large family of descendants.
