School «Baltic School of High-Energy Physics and Accelerator Technologies 2020»

RTU invites you to the inaugural Baltic School of High-Energy Physics and Accelerator Technologies organized by the CERN Baltic Group - an international collaboration of eight institutions from the three Baltic states.

This school will be an intensive learning course covering topics of high-energy particle physics, from the basic theoretical frameworks to the cutting edge research at the Large Hadron Collider, as well as the principles, technologies, and applications of particle accelerators.

The Baltic school of High-Energy Physics and Accelerator Technologies 2020 will be hosted by the Riga Technical University (RTU) at the RTU Campus «Ronīši» in Klapkalnciems, Latvia.

Due to the impact of the spread of Covid19, the school has been postponed from the original dates in August to the last week of September, 28.09.2020 - 02.10.2020.

This will be a highly-intensive week-long school aimed at the doctoral and graduate Masters students. The school focuses on the students from the Baltic region, but it is be open for a wider community as well.The extended application deadline for this school is the 14th of August 2020.
