Andris Logins, a student at the Riga Technical University (RTU) Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Transport and Aeronautics doctoral program in Production Technologies, has passed a competition that provides him the opportunity to go to the European Summer School of the CERN in 2017. His travel and subsistence expenses at the summer school will be covered by CERN.
In order to be eligible to take part in the summer school, applicants must pass a large contest - 130 candidates were nominated for one place last year. Student of RTU Stepans Škļariks participated in summer school in 2016 from Latvia. Applying for the next CERN
