Department of Aeronautical Systems and Aircraft Exploitation provides training for all types of aviation specialists, from Bachelor to Doctoral level, including training for foreign students. In the field of training for aviation personnel, well-known scientists started their careers at the Riga Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers: Professor. V. Pavelko, Assoc. Professor V. Šestakovs.
