Thanks to the extensive academic experience, FETH provides an expert overview of various language learning techniques and approaches. Our employees actively keep track of innovations in teaching on the global scale. By implementing professional Bachelor and Master study programs «Technical Translation», FETH educates and trains true language professionals, highly demanded on the European labour market. Furthermore, we offer a wide variety of language courses, including grammar courses, listening comprehension courses and others. The students may choose a course in Latvian as the official state language, a basic course in Russian, practical courses in a second foreign language: English, Spanish, German or French as well as the following kinds of translation practice: Latvian – Russian, Russian – English, Russian – German, general courses in a second foreign language – Spanish, French, Swedish, German and English.
Due to the adequate structural subdivision of the study courses, the implementation of FETH study concept fully conforms to its aim to educate and train highly qualified specialists in translation.
